“I have always loved and admired show posters, they feel like a good luck charm to me and a great way to convey important information about interesting events. I started making my own years ago because of creative drive and musician frugality, the act of walking around stapling them up is a punk joy and you think, I hope someone sees this and comes to the show! Ron Liberti was a huge influence for me early on, also, Maira Kalman, Toulouse
Lautrec and Mike Benson.” -Katharine Whalen
