The Housing Opportunities and Prevention of Evictions (HOPE) program will no longer accept new applications for housing assistance after 6 p.m. today (Wednesday, Nov. 11). Eligible applicants should apply online today: http://nc211.org/hope.
For households that do not make today's 6 p.m. deadline, Orange County Housing and Community Development will reopen limited Emergency Housing Assistance (EHA) for rent and utility assistance. Households must meet EHA eligibility requirements and have received an eviction notice and/or utility disconnection notice in order to apply. Households with the most urgent needs will be prioritized.
